REVISED LOCAL WATER DISTRICT CHARTER OF 2026
This bill aims to modernize the Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973 by amending certain sections of Presidential Decree No. 198. It seeks to enhance the operational autonomy of Local Water Districts (LWDs), protect their management from political interference, and mandate wastewater management.
