STRENGTHENING THE GOVERNANCE OF STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
This bill aims to amend the Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997 to improve the governance of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) by redefining the roles of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and SUC governing boards, introducing differentiated autonomy based on performance, and establishing a Philippine Higher Education Academy for leadership training.
