SYSTEM LOSS LIMITATION ACT

The System Loss Limitation Act aims to lower the cap on the recoverable rate of system losses that electric utilities can charge consumers. It proposes a uniform cap of 1% for both private electric utilities and rural electric cooperatives, while prohibiting the passing on of non-technical losses to consumers.
