STRENGTHENING THE NATIONAL WAGES AND PRODUCTIVITY COMMISSION

This bill aims to strengthen the National Wages and Productivity Commission by amending specific articles of the Labor Code. It proposes to include the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry as a Vice Chairperson and to add a private sector productivity expert as a regular member. Additionally, it reduces the term of private sector representatives from five years to three years, allowing for one re-appointment.
