Palay price stabilization

AMENDING R.A. NO. 8178 (AGRICULTURAL TARIFFICATION ACT OF 1996)

This bill amends the Agricultural Tariffication Act of 1996 to enhance the regulatory powers of the National Food Authority (NFA) in managing rice supply and prices, including the authority to set floor prices for palay and to regulate rice imports and buffer stocks.
