LOCAL FILM INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT ACT

The Local Film Industry Development Act aims to promote and support the growth of the Philippine film industry by creating the Philippine Film Commission, which will replace the Film Development Council of the Philippines. The Commission will have various powers and functions to enhance the local film industry, including establishing a Cinema Evaluation System and providing financial incentives for film production.
