The Energy Advocate Act aims to create an independent Energy Advocate Office (EAO) to represent energy end-users in regulatory matters, ensuring fair rates and services. The EAO will be attached to the Department of Justice and will have specific powers to advocate for consumer rights in energy-related cases.
