TRIPARTITE COUNCIL (CREATION)
This bill proposes the creation of a Tripartite Council to address unemployment, underemployment, and job-skills mismatch in the Philippines. ADOPTION OF ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS
Senate Bill No. 536 allows for the adoption of alternative work arrangements, enabling employers and employees to agree on flexible work schedules during national emergencies or by mutual consent, while ensuring existing employee benefits are maintained.
PROFIT SHARING ACT
The Profit Sharing Act aims to promote profit-sharing arrangements between employers and employees by establishing a national framework and support mechanisms. It seeks to create a more equitable economic environment by allowing businesses to share a portion of their profits with employees, thereby enhancing productivity and reducing income inequality.
