AMENDING R.A. NO. 11350 (NATIONAL COMMISSION OF SENIOR CITIZENS ACT)

Senate Bill No. 1175 amends the National Commission of Senior Citizens Act to clarify the roles and responsibilities of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). It aims to make the NCSC the primary policy-making and advisory body for senior citizens while transferring implementation functions to the DSWD.
