The Poverty Reduction through Social Entrepreneurship Act aims to promote social enterprises as a means to alleviate poverty in the Philippines. It establishes the Poverty Reduction through Social Entrepreneurship (PRESENT) Program, which will provide support, benefits, and appropriations to social enterprises that engage marginalized communities as primary stakeholders.
