CHARTER OF THE MORO PROVINCE

RESETTING THE FIRST REGULAR ELECTIONS IN THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO
This bill resets the date for the first regular elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao to March 30, 2026, amending the Organic Law to ensure compliance with constitutional requirements and to allow the Commission on Elections sufficient time to prepare.

The Hybrid Election Act mandates a combination of manual voting and counting at the precinct level, along with automated transmission and canvassing for elections in the Philippines, including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
