Escudero AN ACT CONVERTING THE PAWIK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PAWIK, MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, INTO AN INTEGRATED SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PAWIK INTEGRATED SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR EXPLANATORY NOTE This bill, as a counterpart measure of House Bill No. 6275 filed by the Representative of the First District of the Province of Sorsogon, seeks to convert Pawik Elementary School in Barangay Pawik, Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Sorsogon into an integrated school, to be known as the Pawik Integrated School. This proposed measure will expand the educational services that can be provided by the educational institution to the community it serves, thereby improving access to quality education and ensuring that students are able to continue their studies without unnecessary financial or logistical barriers. Additionally, this bill also serves as a recognition of Pawik Elementary School as one of the key educational institutions in the Municipality of Magallanes, which consistently demonstrates strong performance in both academic and extracurricular activities. Escudero AN ACT CONVERTING THE PAWIK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PAWIK, MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, INTO AN INTEGRATED SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PAWIK INTEGRATED SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Conversion into Pawik Integrated School. - The Pawik Elementary

2 School in Barangay Pawik, Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Sorsogon is hereby 3 converted into an integrated school to be known as Pawik Integrated School.

Sec. 2. Transfer of Assets and Liabilities. - All personnel, assets, liabilities and

records of the Pawik Elementary School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Pawik Integrated School.

Sec. 3. Appropriations. - The Secretary of Education shall immediately include

in the Department's program the operationalization of the Pawik Integrated School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Sec. 4. Effectivity. - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its

complete publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
