No. 8499 BY REPRESENTATIVES GOMEZ AND MOMO AN ACT NAMING THE ROAD FROM BARANGAY WEST, JUNCTION OF HERMOSILLA DRIVE, THROUGH BARANGAY NORTH, RIZAL EXTENSION ROAD, UP TO BARANGAY DONGHOL, DONGHOL-LAKE IMELDA ROAD, WHICH IS ALSO REFERRED TO BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS AS THE ORMOC-LAKE IMELDA NATIONAL TERTIARY ROAD, IN THE CITY OF ORMOC, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AS THE JUDGE BENJAMIN PONGOS, SR. AVENUE Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The road from Barangay West, junction of Hermosilla Drive,

through Barangay North, Rizal Extension Road, up to Barangay Donghol, Donghol-Lake Imelda Road, which is also referred to by the Department of Public Works and Highways as the Ormoc-Lake Imelda National Tertiary Road, in the City of Ormoc, Province of Leyte, is hereby named as the Judge Benjamin Pongos, Sr. Avenue.

SEC. 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the

necessary rules, orders, and circulars to implement this Act within sixty (60) days from its effectivity.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect affer fifteen (15) days following its

publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
