No. 8498 BY REPRESENTATIVES GOMEZ AND MOMO AN ACT NAMING THE DIVERSION ROAD COMMENCING AT THE ORMOC-BAYBAY- SOUTHERN LEYTE BOUNDARY ROAD IN BARANGAY BANTIGUE AND TRAVERSING BARANGAYS SUMANGGA, PATAG, DONGHOL, BILIBOY AND SAN PABLO UP TO THE DIVERSION JUNCTION AT THE PALO-CARIGARA- ORMOC ROAD IN THE CITY OF ORMOC, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AS THE MAYOR VICENTE G. TORRES, SR. AVENUE Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The diversion road commencing at the Ormoc-Baybay-

2. Southern Leyte Boundary Road in Barangay Bantigue and traversing Barangays Sumangga, Patag, Donghol, Biliboy and San Pablo up to the diversion junction at the Palo-Carigara-Ormoc Road in the City of Ormoc, Province of Leyte, is hereby named as the Mayor Vicente G. Torres, Sr. Avenue.

SEC. 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the

necessary rules, orders, and circulars to implement this Act within sixty (60) days from its effectivity.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its

publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
