No. 7554 BY REPRESENTATIVES FRESNEDI AND MIRAFLORES AN ACT DECLARING DECEMBER 19 OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MUNTINLUPA, TO BE KNOWN AS "MUNTINLUPA FOUNDATION DAY", AMENDING FOR THIS PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9191, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "AN ACT DECLARING THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MUNTINLUPA TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNTINLUPA CITY CHARTER DAY" Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: holiday in The City of Munitiu pa ve be aris hereby declared a opedal no way ing commemorate its founding anniversary.
SEC. 2. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 9191 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. March 1 of every year is hereby declared a special [non-] working holiday in the City of Muntinlupa to be known as Muntiniupa City Charter Day in order to commemorate the Charter Anniversary of the said city."
SEC. 3. The title of Republic Act No. 9191 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"AN ACT DECLARING THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL [NON-I WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MUNTINLUPA TO BE KNOWN AS [THE] MUNTINLUPA CITY CHARTER DAY".
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official
Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
