CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TWENTIETH CONGRESS First Regular Session HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES H. No. 689 BY REPRIESENTATIVES ZAMORA (M.C.) AND MOMO RENUMBERING THE DISTRICT ENCINARING OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS IN THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO DE ORO Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled.

SECTION 1. The two (2) district engineering offices of the Department of Public Works and

Highways (DPWH) in the Province of Davao De Oro are hereby renumbered to correspond with the numbering of the legislative districts of the province. The First District Engineering Office shall be located in the First Legislative District and shall serve the municipalities of Monkayo, Compostela, New Bataan, Montevista, and Maragusan. The Second District Engineering Office shall be located in the Second Legislative District and shall serve the municipalities of Nabunturan, Pantukan, Laak, Mawab, Maco, and Mabini.

SECTION 2 Within sixty (60) days from the effectivity of this Act, the Secretary of Public

Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.

SECTION 3. Republic Act No. 11609, establishing the DPWH Second District Engineerin,

Office in the Municipality of Compostela, Province of Davao De Oro, is hereby amende accordingly.

SECTION 1. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official

Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
