AND CO-PILAR AN ACT PROVIDING FOR TRE INCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CAMPUSES OF THE CAPIZ STATE UNIVERSITY INTO ITS UNIVERSITY CHARTER e it enacied by the Senate and House of Representatives of de Philippines in onpress assembled ECTION 1. Regular Campuses, - The Capiz State University (CapSU) in th rovince of Capiz shall be composed of the following regular campuses: CapSU-Roxa City Campus located in the City of Roxas; CapSU-Burias Campus in the Municipality of Mambusao; CapSU-Pontevedra Campus in the Municipality of Pontevedra; CapSU-Dumarao Campus in the Municipality of Dumarao; CapSU-Sigma Campus in the Municipality of Sigma; CapSU-Tapez Campus in the Municipality of Tapaz; and CapSU-Sapian Campus in the Municipality of Sapian, all in the Province of Capiz. Its main campus shall be in Roxas City, Province of Capiz SEC. % Suppletory Application - The provisions of Republic Act No. 8292, otherwise known as the "Higher Education Modemization Act of 1997, shall form part of this Act.
SEC. 3. Compliance with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
Requirements. - The provisions of this Act notwithstanding, the inclusion of the regular campuses in the University Charter shall be subject to CapSU's compliance with the policies, standards, and guidelines of the CHED for their operation.
SEC. 4. Implementing Rules and Regulations - Within sixty (G0) days from the
approval of this Act, the Board of Regents shall, in consultation with the CHED, issue rules and regulations to implement its provisions.
SEC. 5. Separability Clause - If, for any reason, any part or provision of this Act
is declared invalidor unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
SEC. 6. Repeating Clause - Republic Act No. 9273 or "An Act Converting the
Panay State Polytechnic College in the Province of Capiz into a State University to be Known as the Capiz State University (CapSU) and Appropriating Funds Therefor" and all other laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, and rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
SEC. 7. Effectivity - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete
publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
