CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TWENTIETH CONGRESS First Regular Session HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES H. No. 2623 BY REPRESENTATIVES CHUA-TAL, PUMAREN AND SUANSING (M.A.) AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE ZAMBOANGA CITY SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE AND FREEPORT INTO A DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the

Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone and Freeport is hereby converted into a district office.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall inhmediately include in the Department's

programs the conversion into a district office of the LTO extension office in the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone and Freeport, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the LTO extension office in the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone and Freeport. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official

Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
