CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TWENTIETH CONGRESS First Regular Session HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES H. No. 1510 BY REPRESENTATIVES YAP (ERIC), YAP (EDVIC) AND MIRAFLORES AN ACT DECLARING JULY 15 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE WHOLE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (CAR) IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, TO BE KNOWN AS "CORDILLERA DAY" Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. July 15 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking

holiday in the Cordillera Administrative Region to be known as "Cordillera Day" in commemoration of its foundation day.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the

Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved,
